Wallpaper Calculator

Enter your room dimensions, wall height and roll size to find how many rolls of wallpaper you need — including an allowance for the pattern repeat.

How to use

Enter the room's width and length (to get the perimeter), the wall height, and your roll's width and length. Add the pattern repeat if the design must line up.

The tool works out how many strips fit around the room and how many come from each roll, then rounds up. Buy one extra roll for trimming and repairs.

FAQ

What's a pattern repeat?

The vertical distance before a wallpaper design repeats. Patterns waste more paper because strips must align, so the calculator adds it to each strip length.

What roll size should I use?

Standard European rolls are about 0.53 m wide and 10.05 m long — the defaults here. Check your roll's label and adjust.

Should I subtract doors and windows?

For small openings it's safer not to, so you have enough. This tool keeps it simple and rounds rolls up.

Is anything uploaded?
