Age Calculator

Enter your date of birth to see your exact age — years, months and days — along with your age in total months, weeks and days, and a countdown to your next birthday.

How to use

Pick your birth date; the second field defaults to today but you can set any date to find your age as of that day (useful for eligibility dates, anniversaries, or "how old will I be on…").

The calculation handles leap years and varying month lengths correctly by counting whole calendar years and months first, then the remaining days — the same way age is counted in everyday life.

FAQ

How is exact age calculated?

By counting complete years from your birth date, then complete months, then leftover days — accounting for the different number of days in each month and for leap years. So someone born on Feb 29 ages one full year each Feb 28/Mar 1 depending on the year.

Can I find my age on a future or past date?

Yes — change the second date field to any date. Set a future date to see how old you'll be then, or a past date to see how old you were at some event.

Why does the month count sometimes seem off by a day?

Because months have 28–31 days, the "days" remainder is measured against the length of the specific month being crossed — this matches how a birthday is reckoned rather than a fixed 30-day month.

Is my date of birth stored anywhere?

No — the calculation runs entirely in your browser. Your birth date is never sent to a server or saved.
